As of January 2020, Allied Health and Chiropractic, LLC has added Aquatic Therapy to our West 25th location in an effort to continue to elevate the quality of medical care and rehabilitation of our patients.
This state of the art aquatic therapy unit, the Hydroworx 200, will be stationed in an private, temperature controlled room to accommodate one-on-one sessions in a heated pool , supervised by a doctor of physical therapy.
Some of the unique benefits of aquatic therapy—warmth, buoyancy, resistance and hydrostatic pressure—allow patients to achieve movements unattainable on dry land due to pain, weakness or the inability to bear weight.
Aquatic Therapy is suitable for any patient with any injury or condition that makes weight-bearing exercise too painful or risky, such as arthritis, stroke, chronic pain, recent surgery or complicated lower extremity injuries (low back, hip, knee, ankle, foot).
